Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs

The Global Handbook and this website are products of the Knowledge for Health (K4Health) Project, which is led by the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (Hopkins CCP), which is part of the Bloomberg School of Public Health's Department of Health, Behavior, and Society.

K4Health's predecessor project at CCP was called Information and Knowledge for Optimal Health (INFO), and it was under INFO that the Global Handbook was originally produced in 2007.

From the Global Handbook's Acknowledgements:

"Vera Zlidar, Ushma Upadhyay, and Robert Lande of the INFO Project, Center for Communication Programs at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health were the principal technical writers and led the handbook development process, together with Ward Rhinehart from the INFO Project and Sarah Johnson of the World Health Organization, who also served as editors."
